Sealed bids will be received by the Susquehanna County Housing/Redevelopment Authority, 33 Public Ave, Montrose PA 18801 (570) 278-5401, until 2:00 P.M., on Wednesday October 7, 2020 at which time they will be opened and read aloud for the following:
DEMOLITION OF HAZARDOUS STRUCTURES
Located at 517 Susquehanna Street, Forest City Borough, Susquehanna County, PA.
Contract Documents, including Drawings and Project Manual may be obtained at no cost from the Susquehanna County Housing/Redevelopment Authority, address listed above.
Bid security in the form of a certified or cashiers check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the bid will be required to accompany all bids. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond.
Attention of bidders is called to the Federal Requirements in the Contract Documents including but not limited to Equal Employment Opportunity, nondiscrimination in hiring practices, goals for minority and female participation, MBE and WBE participation, participation by Section 3 residents and businesses, and related matters. Bidders must submit with their bids the non-collusion affidavit contained in the contract documents.
Bid Envelopes to be plainly marked with the name of the project and mailed or delivered to the address listed above.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
